Fête nationale


Aujourd'hui 26.1. c'est la fête nationale en Inde. Le "Republic Day".
En quoi est-ce important? On ne le sait jamais avant ...

Il y a de sacrées tensions là bas mine de rien.

India/Security: Troops seize large arms cache in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of Republic Day

Police in Indian-administered Kashmir claimed that it thwarted a terrorist plot to perpetrate attacks on Republic Day (26 Jan) by exposing a huge cache of arms and ammunitions in the Baramulla district on Sunday. After receiving a tip off, armed forces and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), jointly raided the village of Check-e-Mamoosa, in the Barmulla district, after which a large arms cache was uncovered.

According to officials the seizure included 51 automatic grenade launchers, 57 grenades, 42 under barrel grenade launcher (UBGL) grenades, two anti-personnel mines, 30 electronic detonators and 10 kilograms of explosives. Additionally, police also found one machine gun, 4 wireless sets, 28 electric circuits, 13 mortar shells, 32 improvised circuits, four charger boxes and 2100 rounds of AK rifle ammunition.

According to Shakeel Ahmed, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the Baramulla district, the weapons have been smuggled from across the Pakistani border and were concealed in two water tanks.

In another raid operation, Jammu police recovered a huge quantity of arms and explosives, including five kilograms of RDX (Cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine), in the Barsa forests, five kilometres from the Line of Control (LOC), in Rajouri district. According to government offials three Pakistan-made pistols, five AK magazines, 286 rounds of AK rifles, two grenades and 12 electronic detonators were seized.
